Diamond pads set at an angle on the reaming shell blank to aid the clearing of cuttings from the hole while maintaining the core hole diameter. Pads are a combination of natural diamond and carbide pieces. Heavy Duty shells also have hard facing strips to protect the blank from wear in abrasive formations. This is suitable for standard NWL, N2WL, and N3W.
