Product Description
The PS8803CQFN52GTR addresses high-speed signal switching and signal integrity requirements for USB Type-C® (or USB-C®) connectors on USB hosts or devices supporting USB 3.1 transport data rates up to 10Gbit/sec (Gen 2). It includes a signal retiming function to compensate for PCB signal loss and other signal distortions.
This device integrates a CC logic controller for Ra/Rd/Rp sensing on the CC lines and automatically switches the USB channel upon connection and orientation detection. It also supports Intel DCI (Direct Connect Interface) for closed chassis debugging over the USB Type-C port.
