The SN65HVD255DR CAN transceiver meets the ISO1189-2 High Speed CAN (Controller Area Network) Physical Layer standard. Designed for data rates exceeding 1 Mbps in short networks, it provides enhanced timing margin and higher data rates in long and highly-loaded networks. This device includes multiple protection features to enhance device and CAN-network robustness, along with additional features for designing redundant and multitopology networks with fault indication for improved functional safety.
