LM5008MM Integrated Circuit Chip 95V 350mA Constant On-Time DC/DC Buck Switching Regulator
The LM5008MM is a 350-mA step-down switching converter that provides all necessary functions for implementing a cost-effective and efficient buck regulator. This high-voltage converter features an integrated 100-V N-channel buck switch and operates across an input voltage range of 9V to 95V. Available in 8-pin VSSOP and thermally enhanced 8-pin WSON packages, the device is straightforward to implement. The converter utilizes a hysteretic control scheme with PWM on-time inversely proportional to VIN, maintaining relatively constant operating frequency without requiring loop compensation. Intelligent current limit protection with forced off-time inversely proportional to VOUT ensures short-circuit protection with minimal foldback. Additional protection features include thermal shutdown, VCC undervoltage lockout, gate drive undervoltage lockout, and maximum duty cycle limiter.
