MA900GQE Sensor IC Fully Differential Magnetic Digital Angle Sensor With Stray-Field Immunity
The MA900GQE is a contactless, precision magnetic absolute angle position sensor that extracts angle measurements from magnetic field differences at multiple locations on the sensor IC. This differential methodology eliminates parasitic magnetic field interference, making it ideal for end-of-shaft sensor applications with simple target magnets. For rapid data acquisition and processing, the MA900GQE delivers accurate angle measurements from 0 RPM to over 100,000 RPM.
The sensor features magnetic field strength detection with configurable thresholds for magnet proximity sensing, enabling knob axial position detection and diagnostic functions. On-chip non-volatile memory (NVM) stores configuration parameters including reference zero angle position, ABZ encoder settings, and UVW emulation configuration.
Available in a compact QFN-16 (3mm x 3mm) package with wettable flanks.
