MCS1823GQTE Sensor IC Linear Hall-Effect Current Sensor With Over-Current Detection
The MCS1823GQTE is a linear Hall-effect current sensor IC designed for precise AC or DC current sensing applications. Its differential Hall array technology effectively cancels out stray magnetic fields, ensuring accurate measurements.
Featuring a low-resistance primary conductor (0.6mΩ), this sensor allows high currents to flow in close proximity to the integrated circuit containing high-accuracy Hall sensors. The magnetic field generated by the current is measured at two distinct points by integrated Hall transducers, with the difference converted into a voltage proportional to the applied current. Advanced spinning current technology provides low, stable offset performance.
The MCS1823GQTE includes fast over-current detection (OCD) capability, enabling efficient system monitoring for over-current events. Its compact footprint minimizes board space requirements, making it ideal for space-constrained applications. Available in an ultra-small TQFN-12 (3mmx3mm) package.
