The S32K396NHT1MJBS is a purpose-built microcontroller addressing the evolving needs of electric vehicles (EVs) with an exceptional combination of performance, integration, networking, security, and functional safety capabilities.
This microcontroller delivers sufficient computing power to support up to one six-phase or two three-phase motors controlled by over 200 kHz control loops, while simultaneously hosting AI/ML algorithms or other monitoring applications. It enables remote smart actuation applications using Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) Ethernet for modern zonal vehicle architectures and reduces system costs through ASIL D software resolver and analog integration.
