Product Overview
The AWS-0101 is a highly integrated silicon quad core IC designed for radar and 5G phased array applications. This device supports four radiating elements with single beam transmit and dual beam receive capabilities, including comprehensive beam steering controls with 6-bit phase and gain control for precise beam steering and shaping.
When paired with a T/R switch, the BFIC provides a plug-and-play antenna solution that significantly reduces SWaP-C (Size, Weight, Power, and Cost) for low power AESA radars. The BFIC features direct SPI programming of gain and phase, along with daisy chain SPI control capability between multiple ICs. It operates from a single positive power supply.
