Product Overview
The AWMF-0158 is a highly integrated silicon quad core IC designed for 5G phased array systems. This advanced device supports four Tx/Rx radiating elements and includes comprehensive beam steering controls for phase and gain management. Operating in half duplex mode, it enables single antenna support for both transmission and reception operations.
Key integrated features include gain compensation over temperature, temperature reporting, Tx power telemetry, and rapid beam switching utilizing on-chip beam weight storage registers. The device incorporates ESD protection on all pins, operates from +1.8V and +2.5V power supplies, and is packaged in WLCSP (wafer level chip scale package) for streamlined flip chip installation in planar phased array antennas.
As part of the Gen-2 5G IC family, these components represent the first commercially available 3GPP compliant integrated circuits for 5G applications.
