Ultra-high read/write endurance: Up to 1 trillion read/write cycles per byte, making it suitable for frequently updated data logs, counters, status registers or FIFO buffers.
Non-volatile and battery-free: Data is retained for over 10 years after power loss (at high temperatures), eliminating the need for a data retention battery as required by SRAM.
Low power consumption: Extremely low operating current (typically 90µA @1MHz), making it suitable for battery-powered portable devices and IoT nodes.
I²C interface compatibility: Standard two-wire I²C interface with a maximum data rate of 1MHz; pin layout is compatible with many standard I²C EEPROMs (such as the 24C16), facilitating direct replacement and upgrades (note the difference in address bits).
Wide voltage and temperature range: Operating voltage of 3.0V to 5.5V covers 3.3V and 5V systems; industrial-grade temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
