LT4363IMS-2 Integrated Circuit Chip High Voltage Surge Stopper With Current Limit
Product Overview
The LT4363IMS-2 surge stopper protects loads from high voltage transients by regulating output during overvoltage events through control of an external N-channel MOSFET gate. The output is limited to safe values, allowing loads to continue functioning. The device also monitors voltage drop between SNS and OUT pins for overcurrent fault protection, with an internal amplifier limiting voltage across the current sense resistor to 50mV. In fault conditions, a timer starts inversely proportional to MOSFET stress.
