ADBMS6830MWCCSZ 16-Channel Multicell Battery Monitor with I2C SPI Interface and Multi-Chemistry Support
The ADBMS6830MWCCSZ is a multicell battery stack monitor capable of measuring up to 16 series-connected battery cells simultaneously using two individual analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). This advanced IC supports bus bar bypass and direct measurement of negative bus bar voltages.
Featuring a bidirectional isolated serial-port interface (isoSPI), the device enables high-speed, RF-immune communication over simple twisted pair cables. Multiple ADBMS6830 units can be daisy-chained to a battery management system (BMS) controller, allowing simultaneous monitoring of long, high-voltage battery strings with communication redundancy for cable break protection.
