Product Overview
The AFBR-2419TZ fiber optic receiver is designed to operate with HFBR-14xxZ/-1712TZ fiber optic transmitters and multimode glass fiber cable. The optical system with lens ensures consistent coupling into the receiver. Featuring a digital CMOS/TTL signal output, this integrated receiver contains an IC with photodiode that directly converts incoming optical signals to digital output without requiring additional external circuitry.
The integrated design provides very high EMC resistance, wide receiver dynamic range, and high sensitivity over temperature. The data rate typically ranges from 100kBd to 50MBd, and includes a monitor (RSSI) output that delivers current proportional to the average incoming light power.
