LTC4364CDE-1 Integrated Circuit Chip Surge Stopper with 4V to 80V Wide Operating Voltage Range and Adjustable Output Clamp Voltage
LTC4364CDE-1 is a high-performance surge suppressor with integrated ideal diode control, designed specifically for demanding DC power supply systems and ideally suited to power protection applications in humanoid robots. The chip dispenses with traditional Schottky diodes, instead utilizing an external N-channel MOSFET to achieve low-loss, ideal diode rectification. This significantly reduces conduction losses and heat generation in the robot's power supply path, meeting the demands of long-term, continuous operation.
The device offers comprehensive electrical protection, precisely suppressing high-voltage transients and surge impacts in the power supply circuit, while supporting -40V input reverse voltage protection and -20V output reverse protection. It effectively counters electrical interference—such as voltage spikes and power fluctuations—generated during humanoid robot movement vibrations, motor start-stop cycles and posture changes, thereby preventing damage to precision core modules such as the robot's main controller, servo drives and sensors.
With its compact package and high integration, the chip requires no complex peripheral circuitry. It is well-suited to the limited installation space and lightweight design requirements of humanoid robots, and can be efficiently adapted to the robot's 48V DC power supply system. It provides reliable, low-loss and highly resilient front-end power protection for key units such as the robot's power supply, signal acquisition and motion control.
