Magnesia chrome brick used for lower groove wall of furnace
1. The lower groove wall and groove bottom are continuously scoured, eroded and infiltrated by high-temperature molten steel and slag during the steelmaking process; due to the infiltration of slag into the refractory material, a metamorphic layer occurs, and when the temperature fluctuates, cracks in parallel working surfaces occur and peel off. Further accelerate the damage of the material.
 
2. The steel slag has high CaO and F, and contains a certain amount of TiO2 and V2O5. This slag has low viscosity and low melting ratio, which is easier to penetrate and destroy the structure of the refractory material. Oxygen blowing and aluminum are used for thermal compensation and alloying of molten steel. The formation of iron silicate slag and CaF2-CaO-Al2O3 slag caused more damage to the working lining.
 
3. The working lining is made of dense, high-temperature strength, corrosion-resistant fused magnesia-chrome brick XDMGe-20 or 26, semi-rebonded magnesia-chrome brick LZMGe-12 for the secondary working lining, and lightweight high-alumina brick for the thermal insulation lining. Lining with calcium silicate board.
4. The bottom of the tank is fused with magnesia-chrome brick XDMGe-20 or 26, the working lining is erected, the secondary working lining is laid flat, and the bottom of the groove is leveled.
5. The circulation pipe is assembled with anti-scour, anti-erosion and compact. High-strength electrofusion combined with magnesia-chrome brick XDMGe-20 or 24.

1. What are refractory products?

Refractory products refer to functional materials which can resist high temperature or even ultra-high temperature.
