LW - 8229A is a modified PBA type epoxy resin containing fillers.
LW - 8229B is a modified carboxylic acid anhydride curing agent containing fillers.
Applications
Electrical insulators for medium and high voltage applications.
Such as:10 - 35kV sealed terminal posts, transformers, current transformers, and other insulation components.
Processing Methods
Conventional gravity casting process under vacuum.
Automatic pressure gelation process (APG).
Production process is adjustable according to client’s present production
methods.
Properties
Two-component saturated cyclic epoxy resin system with pre-mixed fillers, slurry liquid at room temperature.
Excellent resistance to thermal shock with superior crack resistance.
