LW-8229B is a modified carboxylic acid anhydride curing agent, also containing fillers.
Applications
- Electrical insulators designed for medium and high voltage uses.
- Ideal for 10-35 kV sealed terminal posts, transformers, current transformers, and other insulation components.
Processing Methods
- Conventional Gravity Casting Process under vacuum.
- Automatic Pressure Gelation Process (APG).
- The production process can be customized to align with the client's existing manufacturing methods.
Properties
- This system features a two-component saturated cyclic epoxy resin with pre-mixed fillers, available as a slurry at room temperature.
- Offers excellent thermal shock resistance and superior crack durability.
