The LW-8224A is a prefilled Bisphenol-A epoxy resin designed for outdoor use in transformers. It is paired with LW-8224B, a prefilled anhydride curing agent.
Applications
This epoxy resin system is ideal for indoor medium and high voltage electrical products, including 12 to 40.5 kV insulators, current and voltage transformers, and dry-type transformers.
Processing Methods
The material can be processed using a conventional gravity casting method under vacuum or through an Automatic Pressure Gelation (APG) process. The production approach can be customized to fit the client's existing manufacturing processes.
Properties
The system exhibits excellent mechanical and electrical characteristics, outstanding crack resistance, and superior performance in low and high temperature conditions.
