Brief Introduction
The LW-9229A is a modified BPA (bisphenol A) epoxy resin enriched with pre-mixed fillers, while LW-9229B is a modified carboxylic anhydride hardener, also containing pre-mixed fillers. This system is designed for prolonged durability and crack resistance in outdoor applications.
Applications
This epoxy resin is suitable for electrical insulators used in medium and high voltage scenarios, including 10-35 kV sealed terminal posts, transformers, current transformers, and various insulation components.
Processing Methods
The material can be processed using a conventional gravity casting method under vacuum or through an Automatic Pressure Gelation (APG) process. The production methods can be tailored to suit the client's existing manufacturing practices.
Properties
This two-component system features a saturated cyclic epoxy resin with pre-mixed fillers, existing as a slurry liquid at room temperature. It provides excellent thermal shock resistance and outstanding crack resistance.
