Brief Introduction

LE-8216 is a modified saturated cyclic aliphatic epoxy resin system, complemented by LH-8216, a modified weather-resistant anhydride hardener. This system is UL certified and designed as a flame-retardant material suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Applications

Ideal for electrical insulators in medium and high voltage settings, this epoxy resin is used in products such as insulators, transformers, and various insulation components.

Processing Methods

The material can be processed via a conventional gravity casting method under vacuum or through an Automatic Pressure Gelation (APG) process. The production methods are adaptable to align with the client's existing manufacturing setups.

Properties

This two-component system is a saturated cyclic epoxy resin without pre-mixed fillers, remaining liquid at room temperature. It boasts excellent UV resistance, outstanding thermal shock resistance, superior environmental resilience, and excellent mechanical and dielectric properties.
