C1020 copper plate refers to high-purity oxygen free copper material that complies with Japanese JIS standards. The "C10" series in its name represents oxygen free copper, and "20" is the specific brand code.
The key difference between it and C1100 (tough copper) is that its oxygen content is extremely low (usually not greater than 0.001%), and its phosphorus (P) content is also extremely low. This gives it some advantages that C1100 cannot compare to.
