Description
301L is the low-carbon version of 301 stainless steel (L represents Low Carbon). The upper limit of its carbon content is 0.03%, much lower than the 0.15% of standard 301.
This characteristic greatly reduces its sensitization tendency (intergranular corrosion tendency) during welding and processing, thereby maintaining good corrosion resistance.
It inherits the core characteristics of 301 steel: excellent strength and hardness, as well as good corrosion resistance. It can achieve higher strength through cold rolling processing.
