Halar® ECTFE is a partially fluorinated semi-crystalline polymer offering a unique combination of properties for highly demanding industries. ECTFE Halar 6514 is a black colored semi-crystalline ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer. It is a melt-processable fluorinated resin designed for electrostatic powder coatings or fluidized bed techniques.
This product possesses optimum and rapid adhesion, good chemical resistance, excellent thermal stability, outstanding permeation resistance, optimum flame resistance, good corrosion resistance and bondability. Used as a primer in anti-corrosion, coating and bonding applications and for maximizing topcoat adhesion performances.
