Halar® ECTFE is a partially fluorinated semi-crystalline polymer offering a unique combination of properties for highly demanding industries. It is widely used in anti-corrosion applications as a lining or in self-supporting constructions (piping). Its excellent fire resistance and chemical resistance properties make Halar® ECTFE a first-choice in wire and cable applications. Halar® ECTFE is widely used in anti-corrosion applications such as coating or in self-supporting constructions (pipes) and architectural films. Its excellent fire resistance and chemical resistance properties make it a first-choice product for wire and cable, communication cable and specialty cable applications.

ECTFE Halar 6914 is a grey colored semi-crystalline ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer. It is a melt-processable fluorinated resin designed for electrostatic powder coatings or fluidized bed techniques. This grade possesses optimum and rapid adhesion, good chemical resistance, excellent thermal stability, good color stability, outstanding permeation resistance, optimum flame resistance, good corrosion resistance and bondability.
Used as a primer on large aluminum surfaces in protection and anti-corrosion, coating and bonding applications and for maximizing topcoat adhesion performances.
