Product Description
Tefzel™ ETFE (ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene) resins are melt-processable copolymers with a reputation for excellent physical toughness and resistance to radiation, chemicals, UV, and extreme temperatures. They can be customized for desired color, reinforcement, and conductivity levels, allowing them to be used in a variety of high-performance products and components.

Tefzel HT-2181 Specific Properties
This general-purpose resin is available in translucent, 2.5-mm pellets with intermediate flow rate and balanced properties suitable for various processes and demanding end uses. It performs successfully in applications where other thermoplastics lack mechanical toughness, broad thermal capability, or environmental resistance.
Properly processed products are inert to most solvents and chemicals, hydrolytically stable, and weather-resistant. The recommended upper service temperature is 155°C (311°F), with useful properties retained at cryogenic ranges. Dielectric properties are excellent, and the flame rating is V-0 by UL94 method.
