Performance Characteristics
- High temperature resistance: Can be used long-term in -196℃ to 260℃ range, with higher intermittent use temperatures under proper ventilation
- Chemical stability: Excellent chemical resistance similar to PTFE, stable operation in strong acids, strong alkalis, and strong oxidants
- Low friction coefficient: Among the smallest friction coefficients in plastics, reducing surface friction effectively
- Good electrical properties: High dielectric strength, low dielectric constant, stable electrical insulation across wide frequency ranges
- Non-stickiness: Virtually no solid substances adhere permanently, temporary adhesions easily fall off
- Non-wetting property: Low surface energy, hydrophobic and oleophobic, liquids form droplets without spreading
- Excellent mechanical properties: Good creep resistance, compression strength, high tensile strength with 100%-300% elongation
- Flame retardancy: Achieves V0 flame retardancy grade
- Biocompatibility: Physiologically inert, suitable for human implantation with good tissue compatibility
