Pipe fitting is the general name of the components in the pipe system that play the role of connection, control, direction change, flow diversion, sealing, support, etc.

All steel pipe fittings are pressure bearing pipe fittings. According to different processing technologies, it can be divided into four categories, namely butt welding pipe fittings (including welded and non welded), socket welding and threaded pipe fittings, and flange pipe fittings.

Common classification

There are many kinds of pipe fittings, which are classified according to their uses, connections, materials and processing methods.

Forming processes of metal pipe fittings include: welding, hot top, cold drawing, casting, forging, pushing
