Metal stamping and deep drawn parts is a sheet metal stamping method in which a blank is pressed into shape by using a die. The metal sheet is fixed in its edge area and the pressure is slid onto the product shape in the mould in a controlled manner.
Material of Metal deep drawn parts
Materials suitable for deep drawing include, for example, aluminum, copper, galvanized steel, and stainless steel. Sheet thicknesses typically used for deep drawing are 0.5-4.0 mm, and the maximum blank sheet size is 2.2 x 3.0 m. The material must be soft, which means that hardened steel is not suitable for deep drawing. With deep drawing, you can achieve product depths of up to half a meter.
