1,What is the difference between ball valve and globe valve?
The main difference between the two types lies in the way they are closed. Globe valves use a plug (stem) to stop the flow of fluid, while ball valves have a gate (ball) to stop the flow of fluid. Globe valve is suitable for regulating flow, while ball valve is suitable for on / off control without pressure drop.

2,What is the symbol of stop valve?
For globe valves, modify the symbol by adding a small dark circle between the triangles. We can see that the P & ID and isometric symbols are almost the same, except that the endpoint type has changed.
