510 escalator modernization package

The 510 escalator was a public escalator developed in the 1980s and discontinued in the late 1990s. Escalator parts are designed to last about 20 years. Currently, there are a large number of 510 escalators in use around the world. In order to extend the life cycle of the product and service, these 506 escalators need to be retrofitted. The renovation package provides a technical solution for the renovation of escalator retention truss and supplies related renovation materials.

Compared with the renovation plan of demolishing the old escalator and replacing the new one, Retained the truss and conduct parts replacement ( MOD ) has the following advantages:

Package A : Entire replacement (BEX) , order type E06 commercial escalator for Complete replacement

Package B : MOD - Replace all escalator parts except truss, bautify the balustrade to slimline center handrail design and the escalator safety be upgraded to meet laterst code requirement.

Package C: Step band and driving system replacement - The main replacement parts are step, step chain, track system, handrail , handrail drive system, main drive, tension carriage. The escalator can be retained the original balustrade parts (skirt panel, decking, glass panel, handrail entry box) and floor plate.
