Brief Introduction

​ An escalator step is used to support a standing passenger on an escalator.Therefore, it must be strong enough to ensure the safety of passengers on the ladder. The treads are commonly made of aluminum alloy die cast or a combination of carbon steel and stainless steel treads. As the safety part of the escalator, the ladder has a high quality requirement. We sell steps that are manufactured in a professional manufacturer with strict quality control and have been certified by a national accrediting body.

Step Description

1. Step: Aluminum Alloy or Stainless Steel (powder coating)

2. Roller: PU tire roller

3. Roller cover: Water proofing protection for outdoor escalator

4. Yellow demarcation: Three sides painting or plastic yellow insert

5. Tread surface finish: Scrape the powder coating off the treads with a belt sander to increase resistance to slipping

Product Quality

1. The step breaking force test >15KN (According to the standard EN115)

2. The step rollers are made of hydrolytic resistant polyurethane. The eligibility test for step-chain roller anti-hydrolysis is 250hrs, oil hydrolysis is 250hrs, and life test run time is 5000hrs.
