Structural features and working principles

KPT series two-stage deviation switch is installed on both sides of the conveyor belt when working. When the conveyor belt runs off-track, the conveyor belt touches the vertical roller of the switch and causes the vertical roller to deflect. When the deflection Angle of the vertical roller reaches the switch Angle of level 1, the switch sends out an alarm signal. When the conveyor belt runs off seriously, reaches the switch Angle of level 2. The switch sends out the stop signal to realize the automatic stop of the conveyor belt running fault. KPT series two-stage running off switch has a reliable conveyor belt running off detection function, when the running off fault is eliminated, the belt machine is running normally, the switch roller can automatically reset, back to the initial state.

The installation

The two-stage running offset switch is arranged on the frame on both sides of the conveyor. The vertical roller should be perpendicular to the side plane of the conveyor belt, and the conveyor belt edge is located at the height of 3/1 of the vertical roller.

The distance between the vertical roller of the two-stage running offset switch and the conveyor belt is 50-100mm

The number of installation of the two-stage running offset switch should be determined according to the length of the conveyor, type and layout. Generally, it should be set in the active roller, driven roller and the middle position of the conveyor. For the middle position of the longer conveyor, a pair can be set every 30-35 meters.

The two-stage deviation switch should be connected with the frame of the conveyor by installing the bracket, and the switch bracket should be firmly welded on the conveyor frame, and then the deviation switch and the bracket are linked with bolts.
