These pipes can be easily elongated by 40% as per the requirements of clients. These pipes offer good strength at elevated temperatures of 500° C and up to 800° C. Grade 304H pipes contain a maximum of 0.10 carbon content and a max of ~10.5 percent of nickel content in their overall chemical composition.304 grade pipes can be readily welded by most standard processes. The high chromium content of the alloy in these 304/304H pipes provides resistance to oxidizing solutions such as nitric acid up to 54.9 percent weight and up to 176°F (80°C).
Alloy grade 304/304H pipes perform well in freshwater service with low levels of chlorides as in higher chloride environments they're prone to crevice or pitting corrosion.
