Product Description
Anodizing Wastewater Treatment System Overview
This industrial wastewater treatment solution is designed for a new oxidation production line with a monthly output of 300 tons. The system effectively treats acidic wastewater, alkaline wastewater, and nickel-containing wastewater generated during the anodizing process, ensuring compliance with environmental discharge standards.
Design Specifications
Wastewater Volume Capacity
  • Total production wastewater: ≤230 m³/day
  • Acid-base wastewater discharge: ≤200 m³/day
  • Nickel-containing wastewater: ≤30 m³/day
Note: The above wastewater volumes represent only cleaning wastewater from water washing tanks, excluding tank discharge liquids. The oxidation production line does not include acid etching or three-acid polishing processes.

  • Pre-treated nickel wastewater mixed with comprehensive wastewater meets discharge requirements
Process Flow Diagram

Process Description

Nickel-containing wastewater flows from the workshop into the sump for homogenization, then is pumped to the duplex reactor. Reducing agents are added for thorough mixing reaction, followed by alkali addition to adjust pH to alkaline levels. PAM is introduced to create flocculent precipitation (alum formation).

After dosing reaction, wastewater flows into the sedimentation tank where suspended solids settle as sludge, while the supernatant flows to the alkaline wastewater tank for further treatment.

Sludge Management

Sedimentation tank sludge is periodically discharged to the sludge concentration tank, then pumped to the filter press for dehydration. Dry sludge is bagged and handled by qualified units to prevent secondary pollution. Filtrate returns to the duplex reactor for reprocessing.

Expected Treatment Performance

During normal operation, the treated nickel-containing wastewater mixed with comprehensive wastewater consistently meets all discharge standard requirements.
