Treatment Process Description

Nickel-containing wastewater flows from the workshop into the sump for homogenization, then is pumped to the duplex reactor. The process involves:

  • Addition of reducing agent for thorough mixing reaction
  • pH adjustment to alkaline conditions using alkali dosing
  • PAM addition to create flocculent precipitation (alum formation)
  • Automatic flow to sedimentation tank for suspended solids separation
  • Sludge dewatering via filter press with proper disposal protocols
Expected Treatment Performance
When operating normally, the treated nickel-containing wastewater mixed with comprehensive wastewater meets all discharge requirements specified in the technical standards.
