Process Flow Diagram
Treatment Process Description
Nickel-containing wastewater flows from the workshop into the sump for homogenization, then is pumped to the duplex reactor. Chemical treatment involves adding reducing agents for thorough mixing, followed by pH adjustment to alkaline conditions with alkali addition. PAM is introduced to create flocculent precipitation (alum formation). The treated wastewater then flows to the sedimentation tank where suspended solids settle as sludge, and the clear supernatant proceeds to the alkaline wastewater tank for further processing.
Sludge Management System
Sedimentation tank sludge is periodically discharged to the sludge concentration tank, then pumped to the filter press for dewatering. The resulting dry sludge is bagged and transferred to certified disposal units to prevent secondary pollution. Filtrate from the process is returned to the duplex reactor for reprocessing, ensuring maximum treatment efficiency.
Performance Guarantee: When operating normally, the treated nickel-containing wastewater mixed with comprehensive wastewater consistently meets all specified discharge requirements.
