Stainless Steel AISI304 Woven Wire Mesh with Selvedge for Filtration Applications

Stainless Steel Wire Mesh has excellent resistance to acid, alkali, and high temperature, good tensile strength, and abrasion resistance.
And stainless steel wire mesh is more and more widely used for sieving and filtering in the food industry, petroleum, chemical, rubber, metallurgy industry, etc.

Selvedge edge is where the weft wire loops around the outer warp wire prior to returning across the weave, providing finished edges, which prevent unraveling. It is also woven with stainless steel wire, to stabilize the wire mesh and prevent the wire from moving, so it is also called wrapped edge stainless steel wire mesh, or closed edge stainless steel wire mesh.

The material could be all types of stainless steel wires, and other metal wires that could be drawn into the right size with certain properties. Generally speaking, a selvage will increase the stability of the whole mesh.

Because of this special edge on both sides of the mesh, only the plain weave type is suitable for it. And the mesh count was also limited from 1 mesh to 30 mesh.
