      Stainless Steel 321 Strip is austenitic steel stabilized by the addition of titanium element. These titanium based strips are not sensitive to intergranular corrosion after heating. UNS S32100 Stainless Steel Strip is mainly used for applications in temperature range about 900oC. As they offer excellent corrosion resistance, high strength and phase stability with resistance to aqueous corrosio. Strip steels are manufactured by hot rolling to thicknesses not less than 2 mm, and then finally cold rolled to the required final thickness. Since cold forming (e.g. by deep drawing, stretch forming or bending) is a widely used application for low-carbon strip steels, a final recrystallization anneal is applied.321 stainless steel strip industry application: It is used for outdoor outdoor machines with high requirements for resistance to grain boundary corrosion in chemical, coal and petroleum industries, heat-resistant parts of building materials and parts with difficult heat treatment.

Hot Rolled Stainless Steel 321 Strips are hardened through annealing process and quenched in water to attain maximum corrosion resistance. These hot rolled strips are cannot be hardened by thermal treatment. Our Cold Rolled Stainless Steel 321 Strips are produced using billet or slabs passing through the cold rolled and annealed. SS 321 Strips have good weldability and formability; they can easily weld without using filler material.
