1.Product Description
The Copper Nickel Flange is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant piping component manufactured from copper-nickel alloy, predominantly UNS C70600 (90/10) and UNS C71500 (70/30). These flanges are designed to connect pipes, valves, fittings, and equipment in severe service environments, especially where exposure to seawater, brine, or aggressive cooling water is expected. They combine excellent mechanical properties with superior resistance to marine corrosion and biofouling.

Shipbuilding & Marine: Seawater cooling, ballast, fire fighting, sanitary, and hydraulic lines.
Offshore Platforms: Topside process piping, firewater ring mains, deluge systems.
Desalination Plants: High-temperature brine lines in MSF (Multi-Stage Flash) and MED (Multi-Effect Distillation) units.
Power Generation: Cooling water intake and discharge lines, condenser connections.

3. Product Functions
Pipe Connection: Provides a strong, detachable mechanical joint between pipe segments or pipe-to-equipment.
Leakage Prevention: When mated with a suitable gasket, creates a pressure-containing seal against fluid escape.
System Access: Blind flanges seal pipe ends, allowing easy opening for future expansion, inspection, or cleaning.
Stress Reduction (WN type): Weld neck flanges provide a smooth transition from pipe to flange, reducing stress concentration and turbulence.
