1. Product Description
A Copper Nickel Reducing Tee is a T-shaped pipe fitting manufactured from copper-nickel (CuNi) alloy, featuring three openings with different diameters. The fitting consists of a main opening called the "run" and two side openings called "branches". As a reducing tee, the branch outlet has a smaller diameter than the run pipe, allowing for flow transition between different pipe sizes.
Common material grades include 90/10 Copper Nickel (UNS C70600, also known as B10 or CuNi90/10) and 70/30 Copper Nickel (UNS C71500, also known as B30 or CuNi70/30). The fitting is available in various connection types including butt weld (BW), socket weld (SW), and threaded connections.
