HOW TO USE PTFE TAPE? 

1. Prepare threads and make sure they are clean and free from obstruction. Place end of the tape on the thread and hold in place

2. Pull the tape taut as you begin wrapping the tape around the pipe. Make sure tape stays tense as it you wrap it around the threads. Overlap tape slightly as you go around.

3. Make sure that both the grooves and ridges are tightly wrapped. Break tape off once the threads are covered.
