The ULP-4040 is an ultra-low pressure aromatic polyamide composite membrane element designed for efficient desalination of tap water and groundwater. This advanced membrane achieves high water flux and superior desalination rates at operating pressures approximately 2/3 lower than conventional low-pressure membranes, significantly reducing system costs and improving operational efficiency.

Ideal for desalination treatment of water sources with salt content below 2000ppm, including RO water, groundwater, tap water, and municipal water. Widely used in:

• Initial low-pressure wash: 15-25 minutes
• High-pressure wash: 60-90 minutes
• Discard product water and concentrated water from first hour of operation
• Maintain continuous operating pH range of 2-11
• Maximum influent SDI value: 5
• Allowable free chlorine content: <0.1ppm

• Dry membranes: Keep moist after wetting
• Wet membranes: Use 1.0% sodium bisulfite protective solution for long-term storage
