ULP-8040 Industrial RO Membrane for Water Treatment
ULP series membrane elements are engineered for desalination treatment of water sources with salt content below 2000ppm, including RO water, groundwater, tap water, and municipal water. These membranes are primarily utilized in various industrial applications including pure water production, boiler feed water systems, food processing facilities, and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
Advanced Ultra-Low Pressure Technology
The ULP series represents an ultra-low pressure aromatic polyamide composite membrane element specifically developed for tap water and groundwater desalination. This innovative technology delivers high water flux and exceptional desalination rates comparable to conventional low-pressure membranes, while operating at approximately 2/3 of the standard operating pressure. This significant pressure reduction translates to lower investment costs for pumps, pipelines, containers, and related equipment, while simultaneously reducing the operational costs of reverse osmosis systems.

Critical Operational Notes
- The water production rate listed represents average values, with individual membrane element production rates varying by ±15%
- Strictly prohibit the addition of any chemical agents that may affect membrane elements during storage and operation
- Product specifications are subject to change without prior notice due to technological advancements
- Dry membrane elements are shipped without protective solution, while wet elements contain 1.0% sodium bisulfite solution (with 10% glycerol antifreeze in winter) and are vacuum packaged
- Dry membrane elements must remain moist after initial wetting; for long-term storage of wet elements, use protective solution containing 1.0% food-grade sodium bisulfite
- Initial startup requires low-pressure washing for 15-25 minutes followed by high-pressure washing for 60-90 minutes
- During the first hour of operation, both product water and concentrated water should be completely discharged
