HSD is a homogeneous impedance-controlled interconnect system designed specifically for high-speed data and low-voltage requirements in real-time automotive industry applications. This 100 Ohm fully shielded system is extremely compact and durable, utilizing shielded twisted quad cables. It also features mechanical keying and latching for secure connections, as well as coding to prevent misuse.
With its high data throughput and ability to prevent interference from crosstalk and external sources, the HSD cable and PCB connector system is ideal for LVDS cameras, USB connections, Ethernet, and Firewire (IEEE 1394) applications. It is also well-suited for digital infotainment electronics, digital symmetrical networks, and even radio base stations.
