Description of Filter Coffee Machine
A water container is connected to a through-flow heating element, which separates water and steam after through-flow heating and feeds the separated steam to a steam delivery nozzle. The tank is connected to the fresh water tank via a check valve at the bottom and to the steam separator via a throttle valve at the top, with a throttle valve between the tank and the heating element to limit the rate of water delivery when dry steam is required.
What is the difference between beans for filter coffee and espresso?
The roast makes the difference! Espresso beans are usually roasted darker than beans for filter coffee. Espresso is obtained with an espresso machine at a brewing pressure of 6 to 9 bar in 25 to 30 seconds. Filter coffee is brewed in 2 to 6 minutes, depending on how it is prepared, and then filtered.
