This octal buffer and line driver is specifically designed to improve the performance and density of tri-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters.The SN74HC244 is configured as two 4-bit buffers/drivers with independent output enable (OE) inputs.When OE is low, the device passes noninverting data from the A input to the Y output.When OE is high, the output is in a high impedance state.
