Adhesive RA-65 The Essential Product for Your Industrial Operations
·Brief Introduction
RA is an improved version of Binder A. It is a white powder. Appearance is white powder, and formaldehyde can be released when heated. It is a hypomethyl donor in the adhesive system of rubber, A and white.
·Technical Specification
| Appearance | white powder |
| Ash% | 30-38 |
| Water content % | ≤4.5 |
| Sieve residue% | ≤0.3 |
·Application Instruction
-
Adhesive RA achieves adhesion through its reaction with methylene receptors, exemplified by rubber adhesives such as RE and GLR-20. This chemical interaction initiates rapidly once the vulcanization temperature is reached. Crucially, if this reaction precedes vulcanization, the adhesive strength of the integrated system may drastically diminish or even completely dissipate. Typically, the process begins with blending rubber filler and methylene receptors at an elevated temperature, followed by the simultaneous addition of Adhesive RA, sulfur, and accelerator during the final mixing phase.
-
For optimal performance, it is recommended to use 2 to 5 parts per hundred resin (phr) of RA in conjunction with 2 to 5 phr of adhesive GLR-20.
*Packaging and Storage Adjustments:
- RA is encased in a robust woven bag, which is further lined with a protective PE film bag to ensure product integrity. Each bag carries a net weight of 25 kilograms.
- To maintain product quality, RA should be systematically stored in a dry, clean, and temperature-controlled warehouse. It is imperative to safeguard against moisture, excessive heat, and degradation.
- The product remains viable for use within a period of one year from the date of manufacture, provided that storage conditions are adhered to.
