Proper evaporator selection ensures optimal performance and energy efficiency:
- General formula: Evaporator capacity = Cold room cooling capacity × 1.15
- 0°C applications: Select 4.5mm fin spacing (Evaporator = 1.0 × Q0)
- -18°C applications: Select 6mm fin spacing (Evaporator = 1.1 × Q0)
- -25°C applications: Select 9mm fin spacing (Evaporator = 1.27 × Q0)
