Why 316L Stainless Steel Strip Is Used In Syringe Needle?
Grade 316L stainless steel strips are very popular materials for the production of medical syringes needles.
Its primary alloying constituents are chromium (16%–18%), nickel (10%–14%), and molybdenum (2%–3%), with small quantities of silicon, phosphorus & sulfur.
The presence of molybdenum makes the 316L stainless steel strip more resistant to corrosion than 304 stainless steel strip. 316L stainless steel strip has lower carbon than 316 stainless steel strip.
