The spray mixing tower integrates cold water spray and cold air mixing technologies. Exhaust air enters from the tower bottom and flows upward through folding baffle gaps. Cold water atomizes through specialized nozzles, creating numerous water droplets that spray onto exhaust air and baffles.

Heat and mass transfer occurs between water droplets and wet, hot exhaust air, cooling and condensing the exhaust stream. Heated water droplets collect at the bottom drain outlet for discharge. The air then moves upward through the mixing section after two-stage spraying.

Fresh air enters through side inlets, mixing thoroughly with exhaust air. Additional heat transfer and cooling cause further condensation. As the air passes through baffle plate gaps, condensation separation occurs. The exhaust and cold air undergo two mixing stages with final cold water spray cooling before atmospheric discharge via exhaust fan.
